      Depending on your definition of center left? This article considers Trudeau to be center left. With this definition:

      Germany

      The US

      Canada

      Scandinavian countries

      I'm sure there are more: this is my limited knowledge of world politics. But of course this is following (in the US): 8 years of center left president, 2 center left nominees for president, a center left speaker of the house, center left senate majority leader, center left head of party, etc etc etc

        In other words, the same neoliberal order we've had in power for decades in the global north still is in power. But I guess saying that doesn't generate an eye-catching headline.

        Germany still has its christian democrats in power(for now), Democrats are to the right of most European liberals.. and well. Trudeau is a neo-liberal..

          Sure, but compared to a "left" country, Scandinavian countries are by definition center left. Now where I disagree with the author of this article is Scandinavian countries are center left. US/Canada/etc are center right.
