    I'm convinced that everyone who calls Castro a "dictator" or the Cuban government "authoritarian" never does even one minute of research, and couldn't answer even the most basic questions about how the Cuban government actually operates. They say it because "everyone knows he's a dictator" and when anyone challenges that notion they just get a bunch of incredulity thrown back at them.

      Americans have been conditioned to think the world revolves around them and their logic, and that anyone who serves in office longer than the limit of 8 years set by their own revolutionary hero turned 1st executive leader is an authoritarian, ignoring the fact that Washington deciding to retire after 2 terms was completely arbitrary, and that he also put down rebellions and dissidents during his time as president.
