Anyone wanna explain how they went from 100+ seats to 24 in a decade? Hoping for a win today but that really dampened things.

    Rise of the Bloq, The emergence of Trudeau, the fading of the hatred for Harper etc.

    Ultimately, NDP’s base of support has remained more or less stable so their wildly varying electoral performance is really just due to politics.

    IMO, we need to increase that base to truly enact change. Just voting NDP won’t do anything if when in power they don’t do shit (look at BC).

      BC NDP is kinda the exception to the rest of the party. They're just BC's Libs, essentially, and what would be the NDP base there generally ends up voting Green or trying to sneak decent candidates into the NDP.
