    This has been proven true literally every time economists have checked. Immigration makes an economy bigger, which benefits everyone. Our current immigration regime though requires that undocumented migrants be constantly under threat of deportation, which allows them to be exploited harder than the average american because they can't complain without being kicked out.

      Yep. In this case immigrants aren't being used to bolster labor power and build a better world, they're being used as a reserve army of labor to drive down wages for citizens and generate massive profit for companies that hire them with essentially no labor rights (usually agricultural sector).
