    I wonder what counts as an "online game" with regard to this regulation. Does it target MMOs and MOBAs only or does it apply to every game that connects to the internet? Because this will totally upheave how gacha games work, genshin impact included.

      I don’t know what the revenue looks like for domestic vs international versions, but China will not enforce these policies on the latter. As long as it’s legal in other countries, they’re gonna take advantage of it and let the politicians complain then do nothing to change the laws lol
