China: restarts Thorium reactor research, bans environmentally regressive libertarian ponzi scheme
I don't think I'm going to be able to function on an internet where everyone expects you to microtip and etherium gas fees are like $100 so who can actually afford any of this shit???
China is going to singlehandedly save the environment from capitalism

:cryptocurrency: THIS IS GOOD FOR BITCOIN
:xi-reactionary-spotted: sir please face the wall
To distract from this mass CNY devaluation and to dissuade Chinese citizens from escaping to safe havens fixed supply assets, like bitcoin, they just repeating themselves maybe in the hope Bloomberg twists their words to the point of fake news.
Pure copium, by that logic considering US inflation and how much the Fed is dumping on Wall Street every month bitcoin would be worth 1 million each already. Instead the line only keeps going up while bitcoin still can't reach the previous 60k high.
If anything capitalists/investors have many different ways to hedge against inflation both in the US and China and crypto is parhaps a minor part of any valuable portfolio not held by some random cryptobro/fascist.
Do you really have to ask whether the Bitcoin nerds are wrong or not?
I can imagine my ex chud friend crying and getting overly upset over this and it makes me smile a bit
WHO NEEDED SOME MOTIVATION FOR TODAY!!! :mao-aggro-shining: :deng-salute: :xi-lib-tears:
Hooray!
I don't really have a problem with people wasting their money on weird internet libertarian ponzi schemes, but they need to find a way to do it that doesn't involve boiling the oceans. Fuck bitcoin.
oh, you want to trade a bitcoin? here's a calculator and some graph paper, get calcuating
