I volunteered for 4-6 hours ONE TIME on an organic farm and that was enough farm labor for a lifetime. Picking carrots at 8am in November, then rubbing/washing the dirt off them in the barn with 40°f water until my fingers stiffen and turn blue was enough of a wakeup call that I can't do this regularly. The sun-warmed strawberries right off the plant were the best I've ever had, though.
