I must have missed the announcement, but this has to be a large joke right? The amount of shit that will get people killed on here is just constantly being repeated, telling small women how to train to fight off multiple opponents with their fists, people recommending carrying tactical tomahawks, others suggesting to just keep beating people after they are unconscious.
Its like somebody just brought a voice recorder to a literal mall ninja shop and turned it into a text transcript for reddit.
There's so much weird posturing in communities like that. Yes, you're extremely macho and powerful and you've brought a huge combat knife to Dippin Dots just in case the bad guys from Commando show up to kidnap everyone's daughters. You're not frightened of your own shadow at all.

They're crazy for that word because to them it implies not only being in combat but also doing stuff like using a knife in hand-to-hand combat to kill. So tactical also has a use in marketing. Even somebody who just sits on their ass all day pushing paper around can pretend to be a badass too...
