      Because the military is legitimately the only form of culture Americans have. Whenever people say Americans have no culture it isn’t true, almost everything is derived from its military heritage.

    Growing up, my moms reason for not letting us read the lion witch and the wardrobe was the scene where Santa shows up to give all the children weapons. I thought it was a weird reason, but I get it now as an adult.

    I now have a neighbor that decorates every year with an inflatable Santa wearing a camouflage uniform and holding a gun. doomjak

        Yeah. It's a Christian book so there's a scene where they celebrate Christmas. Santa himself shows up to give the children presents. The toddler gets a health potion and the rest of the kids get swords and axes and bows etc. To help them fight heathens or whatever.
