I mean, walking up while they're on the ground with multiple bullets in them, shooting then again then observing the incapacitated person nearly a whole minute before shooting them 4 more times at close range?
You'd rightfully get charged with first degree/premeditated murder even if they started the fight.
A pharmacist in Oklahoma--- OKLAHOMA--- got some kind of serious murder conviction for doing pretty much this. The pharmacist had shot the guy like once or twice, went behind the counter, then came back and shot the guy some more as he was lying on the ground.
Jesus christ, if the average person did that to someone they could reasonably expect was trying to murder them, they would be charged with some crime.
