God Damnit. God fucking Damnit. Fuck Fuck Fuck this is disgusting, private prosecutions. didn't even give credit for time served. all for beating Chevron in an environmental case and appealing a preposterous court order. I knew cruelty was the point in this but fuck. Even if he actually did 6 counts of contempt of court 2 years and 8 months is more than can be legally given for that.

      He's being prosecuted by chevron lawyers. Like not even a DA who receives donations from them, it's a private prosecution!

          US DAs did not think this was a case worth prosecuting, and a private law firm hired by Chevron took it on their behalf. One of the many outrageous aspects of this whole thing.
