people are trying to frame this as some "right wing infiltration of BLM protests" but the other Boogaloo Bois he was in touch with were left-wing anarchist goofballs trying to do misguided entryism into Boog movement shit who got entrapped by the FBI trying to give money to Hamas.

:blob-no-thoughts: Why are there all these reactionaries in my reactionary protests? Must be infiltration. :very-smart:

if you read about the boogaloo guys he "was in communication with" that they mention in the article, those guys were anarcho-communists from NC or something. they got lots of attention during the george floyd stuff from the media as it tried to figure out if all the armed people in the streets were right-wing chuds or not. they went out armed to protect the BLM marches. now those guys, as a result of becoming well known in the media and declaring themselves anarchists and being armed, were targeted by feds for entrapment, in the formulaic post-9/11 muslim style. wild shit.

lol, well considering they are in prison for a long time for the post-9/11 muslim style entrapment case the FBI hit them with, i wouldn't call them feds.....

No, I'm not saying they're feds at all. I'm just joking about how infiltrating Boog shit is exactly what feds do, and it's hilarious to see a few anarchists doing the same, even by coincidence.

oh yeah for sure. not for the same reasons though. i think they genuinely found an affinity with some of the people in it. they all liked guns, claimed to be anti racist and anti government. idk, i wouldn't do it. but i could see how they might. anarchists have long tried to forge links with anti-government militia people and inject some class analysis about who the real enemy is into their conspiracy theory worldview. idk if it has ever been all that successful....

Yeah, I knew quite a few left wing type people who used to be part of/associated with/whatever you wanna call it the Boogaloo Bois. They all gave up after realizing they were a lost cause way before the George Floyd protests.

yeah there weren't many leftists left in it by the time the Floyd riots kicked off. but there were a few i guess.
