Really? Thanks for the heads up, I just assumed all soaps were made of vegetable oils now. I should check these things more often.
Check out the sage’s lye calculator if you’re gonna make soap! Better to be safe than sorry!
I’ve been doing it for a few years now and am thinking about market stalls. There’s some hoops to jump through if you’re in the eu and you’ve gotta pay a chemist for a cosmetic safety report - but you could just label all your soap for dogs and then you’re fine!
50% olive oil 35% coconut oil 10% castor oil (for hair) 5% shea butter
Is basically my recipe, but any fats can go in! :stalin-approval:
I mainly do essential oils. I do a mint and tea tree with a bunch of activated charcoal in it so it's jet black. Doing colourful swirls is a very fun and rewarding process too!
:CommiePOGGERS: nice also I'd love me some unscented soaps tbh thanks for showing this.
If it’s affordable where you live, Aleppo soap and other pure olive oil soaps are vegan and nice for your skin.
I fucking love nice soaps! If you don't already make your own and would like a few brand recommendations, holler at ya corgi with a laptop.
