To act like America is some benevolent defender of Taiwan who the primitive Taiwanese are simply too stupid to properly utilize is the most chauvinist bullshit.     Top U.S. military officials testified earlier this year that Beijing is likely to try to use force in its designs on Taiwan within the next six years. Other officials have said China’s timeline could be sooner than that.

    The MIC is slavishly devoted to hyping up the next conflict to maximize their quarterly earnings. Meanwhile, China can afford to be patient and bide their time, to the point where any action they take with Taiwan would be successful. "Trust me, they are going to attack any second now!" fills me with extreme doubt lmao
