No, don't you see? If we make the meaning of poverty so low that even someone making as little as $2 a day isn't considered in poverty by our standards then poverty magically disappears!
Wow I guess the allowance my parents gave me when I was a child made me a self made middle classer.
Most of the questions are weird population based ones (extrapolating to 2100 like that is going to be accurate) but this one kills me:
In the last 20 years, the proportion of people living in extreme poverty has ... almost halved
Wow weird, I guess the world is just getting better by itself. Let's not investigate where that poverty went, or god forbid exclude the single country with any success in that area. Let's just close our eyes and applaud capitalism for another winner
I did the quiz, the last question is literally by 2100 the average temperature will:
a get warmer
b stay the same
c get colder
There are 2 billion children in the world today, aged 0 to 15 years old. How many children will there be in the year 2100, according to the United Nations?
Extremely :libertarian-approaching: question

Gotta love how they're all like, "Actually the average lifespan is 72 years but we rounded down so as not to overstate progress." Progress? From the Bible, Psalm 90, verse 10: "The days of our years are three score and ten (70)." The only way it's a significant increase is if you distort the numbers by including infant mortality, one of their favorite tricks.
Also they're like, "We intentionally didn't define low-income because our goal was to see how people would interpret it." Wtf don't mark it wrong then lol, that's not how quizzes work.
Shoulda just assumed middle income would be defined the same way they do standard deviations to include the majority of the population I guess. As if most countries have a good standard of living and we should accept that as all people should be striving for.
