Some actual communists were re-added as mods and the libs engaged in a terminally online McCarthyist mass psychosis for two straight days until they were removed by the inactive top mod
They've always been libs, but at least tried to mask their sub as somewhat "left unity" for the purpose of dunking on TPUSA. Now it's off.
I remember just casually remarking about Cuba/Vietnam (which are usually the token "good" socialist states unlike Chyna or the USSR) and getting caught off guard by the amount of knee jerk "TANKIE!" replies the next morning. This just happening a day before the "drama" went down. Left Anti-Communism truly is an infantile disorder.
Any vaguely-left online space that doesn't outright come out against Vaushites and Radlibs, or at least isn't serious about "left unity", will inevitably get swarmed by them. When they bitch and moan about how "the tankies" (actual Marxists, anarchists, socialists) are taking over, they're just talking about what they would do. Not that I'm that torn up about potentially "losing" a space to make fun of right-wingers like these dips are.
