Biden won the 2020 election in large part because he was able to win the center... That's why it should be alarming to Biden that the recent downturn in his approval rating has come disproportionately from independents.
Biden only won because people didn't like Trump (see page 17 of the poll results). Trump is as hated as Pelosi and Biden and Kamala are barely doing any better (p. 5-6). But Trump is fervently loved on the right, so 2024 will be really interesting to watch if Trump runs. Expect the news entertainment industry to push for it to happen again.

Me too. I think the DC republicans are as shocked as well are. They probably thought they'd get their judges and their tax cuts and Trump would die from a hidden health problem or problems.
