Yeah im getting it tonight lol. Haven't played sim in ages I really should try getting back into it. Such a shame top tier ground sim is completely broken tho :(
I never got into ground much. Tried playing a couple times and it felt like a completely different game.
I don't play top tier air either though, the repair/spawn costs are so high it doesn't even seem fun. After almost 400 hours in the game I gave Gaijin 8 bucks for the XP-50 and the premium grind has been insane to say the least. I spent down from around 1m SL to 400k to buy some planes, then in like 10-15 hours of game play have gotten to almost 2M. I have like 9 researched planes unpurchased because I'm having so much fun in the XP-50 I don't see why I should have less fun in more expensive, slightly better planes.
The game is in some ways really cancerous and the playerbase complains about the premium stuff so much, but all things considered 8 bucks to make the game very fun and not stressful at all is pretty reasonable for how much you actually get out of it.
