But less piracy is one reason to switch to online subscriptions, the other being you can charge people money more often lmao.
Yeah but musicians also get kinda screwed over from the streaming services as well since it is a 'better deal' for the customer but they make like a penny per stream. It still costs about as much as buying an album every month too.
