From my understanding, unhoused people in China generally have a home. The problem is their home isn't where they're living but in their rural village, while they have moved to an urban city.
Without really do too much digging into it, there probably are people who are unhoused but I think the more important question is: how easy is it to get housing in China vs. the U.S.?
