      Weebs, or imperial-core-approved-asians-number-one-baby, or someone who just got some numbers from different sources to make up this table but didn't matched up the statistics so they just put it in notes.

      Sometimes I want to get some numbers like "how many pedestrians were ran over in X province", but that precise metric is not available for that region so you just get the total nubmer of traffic deaths and calculate "well everywhere else a x% of all traffic-related deaths were pedestrians being ran over, so Imma pull that number from there cuz I don't have the time to get all the police files about traffic deaths and count how many of those were pedestrians"

    I'm looking at that page now and the number for China's been updated, but India still excludes rapid transit. It might be a good idea to start a discussion on the Talk page about settling upon a standard for which statistic is used for the table.

    Looks like someone from here decided to edit the posting, but judging from the rest the Japan entry was simply in the wrong format, the overwhelming amount doesn't include urban trips.

      But the rapid transit is on rails or not? I'm not sure of the deffinitions, but by the description sounds like a complain on the method. Same for India.

        "Rapid Transit" usually refers to trains. Wikipedia:

        Modern service on rapid transit systems are provided on designated lines between stations typically using electric multiple units on rail tracks, although some systems use guided rubber tires, magnetic levitation (maglev), or monorail.

        "Bus Rapid Transit" exists, but usually gets referred to as such, from what I've seen.
