Or is it just pointing out that conditions set up like a hundred years ago still effect minorities today, like how the Prison system was set up to replace slavery.

Also I didn't realize that Nazbols where just Nazis that veil themselves in communist imagery.

I may have terminal online brain, but I not familiar with every magical incantation that you dudes repeat all the time and I'm tired of being too afraid to ask.

That's kind of my problem, when 50% of every article is talking about conservatives reaction to it existing and 25% is talking about whoever the police just murdered

Going to piggyback off your question and ask: does CRT touch on how policing is descended from the slave patrol and enforces white supremacy?

I would say it more looks at current issues and trends within the issues PoC face and their conception of their community as a unit, but you can't ofc do that without a historical analysis and absolutely some of the more left wing thinkers have been influenced by communists like Angela Davis who has written extensively about that history

I guess I only vaguely know what Juche ,(Communism in North Korea) and Posadism (Communist in Space) is

juche is not something I'd feel qualified to explain, but from my understanding it emphasizes self-reliance. they've been bombarded to shit, at war and under sanctions and it probably grew out of those material conditions

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._Posadas#Nuclear_war will help understand posadism but it's almost always used ironically here

you should never be too afraid to ask, admitting you are ignorant and want to learn is a good thing.

CRT is a bit of both the things you said of looking at historical violence and systemic issues like the prison industrial complex and how that perpetuates slavery though mass incarceration. but can also just be more generally a critical look at society, all parts of it from media to government to laws and so on, and coming at that from a lense of looking at historical and current racism. it's genuinely pretty tame and just pointing out the facts of how things are, and how they got there, like a lot of critical theory including femminist stuff just specifically more focused on people of colour.

and yes, nazbols are just nazis who think that communist aesthetics and fetishising strong white workers is cool, they suck

I what was confusing to me is that at what point is it a theory and what point is just say things that happened in the past. Like is it Critical Race Theory to point out the Tulsa Race Riots happened. When conservatives talk about CRT are they more concerned with the impact of events in history or just refusing to acknowledge that they happened in the first place.

so CRT gets its name from Critical Theory more generally, which is just a method of structural analysis it doesn't actually have much of a 'theory' in the scientific sense, but the sociological sense of like calling Marxism 'theory'. when conservatives go off about CRT they are screaming about being reminded racism in any form ever has been and is a thing, because they want to pretend it's just not true to maintain white reactionary hegemony and that racist structure, that includes just stating historical facts and any kind of contemporary analysis

They take it one step further (backwards?), in that they believe there aren't and cannot be any racist systems. In the liberal-conservative brain, racism is only a very narrow, definable series of actions (e.g. calling someone a slur). Nothing else can be construed as racism, no matter the intent, or even admission of those who set the systems up in the first place.

Yeah I didn't know anything about Nazbol until I watched a Thought Slime video that basically said the same thing. It was just something that I just knew the name of and found out, oh that's what that is.

I knew it was short for Nationalist Bolshevik, but I didn't know anything about them and it's not there any other them walking around here

It doesn't really exist as a movement. AFAIK the actual Nazbol party in Russia are just succdems with weird aesthetics and nationalism. Anyone who knows more about them feel free to correct me, though.
