How many F&*$ing times do I need to disable this "feature?" It seems like it's getting to be near daily!

It’s default enabled on Firefox on Linux Mint. Every time I update Firefox, I have to about:config and disable it.

that's usually the website using redirects - you're 'backing' into a redirect to the page

Is there a way to change the fucking "thumb buttons go back and forward" thing?

I love thumb buttons for push-to-talk and other game functionality but its annoying to have to be mindful of them all the time on web browsers.

I thought that was only an IE thing, and I always thought it was silly.

Edit: Just checked. Neither Safari nor Firefox have this 'feature', at least on macOS.
