I think Occam's Razor applies here - Trump is simply an incompetent bully. He wants Gaetz, so he's going to get Gaetz.
Give them some time and space. Let each bite set in, one step at a time. It's important work you are doing, but don't just be another political pest, IMHO.
Stuff like this gives me hope looking forward. Sure, USA is now mask-off facism, but the rest of the world is leaving it behind. Our job in the imperial core is to simply ensure that the decay takes down as few as possible with it.
