Does he mention comparative advantage? Last time I saw this meme was on Twitter, and the replies were full of globe emojis all saying some variation of "google comparative advantage sweaty learn basig egonomigs".

"Fruit from Argentina is packed in Thailand because Thailand is uhhhhh better at packing stuff. It has nothing to do with exploiting cheap labor, they're just really really good at packing" :ancrap:

There was a specific point in time, when YouTube and other people vowed to slightly reduce the amount of neo-nazi content recommendations - that about half of my YouTube videos would end and then autoplay MSNBC, CNN, and other inane shit.

Hey the algorithm recomended this dipshit to me too, I guess because he has a nice video about urbanism, the "will you marry me" bridge building. That video is actually good, the rest is, well.

I can smell that dude from here,

If you wanna know where does that nonsense come from, BadEmpanada has a fairly good video about it. Basically, we lost our US Civil War homolog.

Back when Argentina had less than 1M people and literacy rate below 5%, the agro oligarchs were stupidly rich selling meat to Britain so the per capita GDP was immense, they kept on being stupidly rich, but turns out you gotta have industries to be decent country, but they never wanted to invest in industries because too lazy and stupid, so they kept the country a rural backwater buying everything from Europe , dictating what is teached in schools and couping anyone who slighted them.

Eventually, argentine industrial capitalists wanted to take control of the country, aka Peronists, but they didn't like losing their absolute power so they threw a hissy fit, bombed a lot of civilians, and called them evil gomunists. Oh, and they periodically took massive IMF loans with the sole intention of funneling the money out.

Huh the peaches I see all come from Greece and get processed in Thailand.

They used to come from China but that ended like some time into trumps trade war.

I miss them because those were some succulent firm peaches.
