I can't tell if I genuinely enjoy Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive or if I'm just committed since I've read all 3 books so far. It's good, but fantasy genre keeps me wanting... Something else. Idk how to describe it, I love the world building but I'm tired of magic and monarchies, at least the way they've primarily been utilized so far. Maybe I'll give Ursula Le Guin a read. I've heard her books have closer to what I'm looking for.

Have you tried low fantasy? It's less fantastical, but usually still in a similar setting.
I'd also recommend The Lies of Locke Lamorra. It's not quite low fantasy, but it's really different from the typical stuff like Stormlight.
