    Oof, I'm not a fan of the way the star of david is used here, even if the cartoon is otherwise good

      I'm not a fan either but it's a question of how to depict Israel without it because it's the most recognisable feature of their flag. We even use an adapted version so we're not burning the star here on hexbear.

      Take it up with Israel. If they didn't want the star of david to be seen as a symbol of hate and genocide, then maybe they shouldn't have put it on the flag of a nation that does hate and genocide

        that's not rlly much help for the many jews around the world who both despise the state of "israel" and also are victims of antisemitism

        it's not hard to distinguish "israel" from judaism and jews, so you should.
