I only have the base game and haven't played it much, but it looks fun. Fanatical has a lot of them 55% off right now.

Yeah I guess "all of them" is the best answer by default.

Plus it looks like fitgirl repacks install through lutrus pretty easily.

Real answer is whatever the mods you want require. Personally I'm firmly wrsr gang so I can't say everything you need. Imo you do really need mods, especially for managing traffic. Most of the expansions cost way too much for what should be base game content. C:s has always had the issue of being a transport management game with a city builder.

Yeah OP ask us what mods you should get

      Also play WR:SR OP

Also both of you should try out Foundation at some point, it's early access but very charming in its current state

        WR:SR gang for life :european-soviet:

I saw that a while ago, the building/planning system seemed really interesting. I'll check it out at some point, but I'm currently in the middle of a cosmonaut difficulty world in wrsr so that's taking up my little free time :)

Good luck with the Cosmo run comrade

One thing I really like about foundation is the way the streets evolve using paths of desire. You can correct them with fences if you need to, but it's really satisfying to watch your town develop organically like that.

Thank you o7 this is the first attempt that I think will actually succeed, and it only took me like a year of playing the game to get to this point lmao.

I wanted to share a comparison thread that I found on twitter a long while ago (I don't use twitter I was linked it don't bully me) that compared modern city builders specifically in organic/generative and new types of building system features kinda like what you mentioned with the paths of desire but I can't find it so if I do I'll link it for you.
