Why do redditors think you can RT a strike into existence?
Is it cus organizing is a longer process? Is it 0 theory? A combo?
I see this shit all the time where someone just made a quick "general strike! On (date" image and it goes all over the place but has no union backing and no idea what they're doing.
Good post, also education means actually guiding people around community organzing and getting them involved, not throwing the book at them and telling them to read theory.
Yeah for sure. I always try and steer people (both online and irl) with this energy into joining a union or attending some organizer training at least. They're hearts are in the right place.
You don't even need to read theory all you needed to know is that a general stike means that literally everyone goes on strike, including the normies, which is really hard for some people to understand.
I'm pretty sure it's social media users all wanting to be the next "GME pump and dump" and George Floyd protest thing, however it didn't pan it in this case for obvious reasons.

Because for most people today online is the substitute for real life
0 theory lmfao
Like they objectively haven't read the books

Well duh because they pandered to some liberals on twitter which means they've built a mass movement
