Tostilocos is a very common street food across all of México, the only basic ingredients being tostitos (round tortilla chips) + some type of sauce + some extra ingredients. Each varying depending where you are.
Since there's no real hard and fast rules for what the tostilocos could have, I would like to give my own version:
Czechvault's Own Tostilocos Recipe (ALPHA)
- One bag of Tostitos (preferably green salsa but any round tortilla chips can work)
- One bag of Japanese Peanuts
- A generous amount of hot sauce (Preferably Valentina Sauce, but Chamoy Sauce, which is sweeter, can work too)
- A smattering of chili powder (Broke: Tajín Chili, Woke: Miguelito Chili)
- One whole lime, squeezed
- Diced vegetables (Which can be either or all: Cucumber, Carrot, Jicama, Mango and Corn, just not sweet corn), amount to your own taste.
That looks extremely delicious I gotta try that
