Eh, I don't think there's central chess pieces anymore. What happens to India is important, but I think the conclusion is already inevitable based on material conditions.

I think the conclusion is already inevitable based on material conditions.

This seems like a tautology. I think a more important point is that very little is known about the material conditions of India throughout the anglosphere aside from stereotypes of widespread poverty (maybe I'm telling on myself). Even if India is following some sort of materially predetermined destiny, we would all benefit from having a better understanding of it.

My naive take is that they have a pretty fascist government but there are more communists within India than there are spooks throughout the 5 Eyes. They're a nation of 1.4 billion people, second only to China. They are vitally important by sheer scale, and often overlooked (and if not overlooked, deliberately blacked out in the media).

Nah, we could alaways lick the dumbest option and just blow a shit up to take the world with us.

I find this mindset very relaxing. Maybe too relaxing. I want to grill for god's sake, but I also want to do everything I can to deprogram westerners from war propaganda. Even if it doesn't prevent or end the war, it can lower morale.

I agree that we shouldn't be so relaxed to the point that we just don't bother challenging any narratives. On the other hand though, we shouldn't allow our thoughts to be so dominated by propaganda and various online spaces that we become depressed over it. I think if you read my past comments, you'll get glimpses of me that showed I got kinda consumed by propaganda (not believing it, but obsessing over it). Things usually aren't as bad as our imaginations make out. The US has thrown a lot at China over the years and they just keep marching on, their position improving by the day.

Just this past month I've seen 2 pro-China tiktok videos, 1 explicitly pro, one more subtle that genuinely surprised me because many people liked them enough to get them viral. Worldnews subreddit slowly starting to defend China was also a pleasant surprise. Just knowing there are a growing number of people fighting alongside you makes the day so much better.

:le-pol-face: Wh-what if China treats us the way we've always treated the rest of the world? Doesn't that worry you at all?

    :doomer: lol, lmao

I adhere to the meme in this situation. Whether they can see the irony or not, so what? We do what we can to change lurker minds and move on. Control what we can control and let whatever remains fall where they may. China marches on regardless.
