    Israel and China have been close for a long time.

    China is Israel’s largest foreign investor (Chinese companies and individuals have invested more money into and own more of Israel than investors from any other single nation) and Israel has been semi-secretly selling US armaments to China often without US permission since at least the 80s. They’re currently China’s 2nd largest foreign supplier of arms after Russia, and China is Israel’s second largest export destination.

    Diplomatically although they’ve often not been on the same page the PRC and Israel have always acknowledged each other’s right to exist, even when their allies haven’t, so it’s not at all surprising Israel isn’t signing such a harsh condemnation.

      Yeah a big part of the Pollard espionage case was that Israel immediately sold the classified fighter jet info to China
