    In reality people that use neopronouns most likely won’t get upset if you use they/them if you literally don’t know and are generally pretty chill. Just ask what someone wants to be referred to by and do it. If I said to you my pronouns were fae/faer it’d just be that. If you mess up apologize and correct it and move on.

    There’s this weird take by cis people that trans people will bite your head off at a single mistake when that just doesn’t happen, as long as it’s not intentional and you make an effort to correct yourself then it’s fine.

    Hasan’s take is shit in any capacity because it’s really not that hard, I get English is his second language but just like the gendered language he uses and messes up at times he should just as easily adopt neopronouns and apologize when messing up. In the end he has never had decent takes on trans issues and eeks by on the merit of not being super outwardly hostile.
