    I can't make sense of this road sign.

    Are they saying everyone turns left except busses? Or that everyone goes straight except busses?

        Correct. No entry is either a single red line on white background or a single white line on red background in British road signage.

        There's lots of bus-only lanes like this in major cities so it's very normal.
