"I'll take care of us" proceeds to force the wife to take care of his every need to the point where he doesn't even know how to cook
If these women of the past were so happy being under the thumb on their husbands, why did they keep on rebelling, eventually even willing to put their lives on the line to gain freedom? Hmm

Nonsense. We'll just hire a maid, a cook, a stable-hand, a small battalion of guards, and a priest to propagandize them all into thinking this is normal and good.
You just sit around making babies and I'll be out hunting, soldiering, raping, and looting my way through the adjacent neighborhood.

Obviously, this never happened. Happiness during the late Medieval Era was extremely high, because everyone was perfectly aligned with their gender and social roles. It was a utopia that was only ruined by the damned liberalism of the Enlightenment Era.
Finally, someone said it. On a scale, marriage is practically parasitical to the extent where men are culturally discouraged from taking care of themselves because they can always turn their gf/wife into 'the help' and do all the shitty work they think they're too good for. It's even worse if you're like me and of descent. Nothing like getting called gay by a cousin for helping out with cleaning up during the holidays (I mean he's half-right , but still.)
Little depressed me more than learning the amount of housework the average husband does actually decreases after the first child is born.
Not to defend men too much, but that can also be explained by needing pull crazy overtime so you can actually financially support a family. Your ability to do housework decreases because you are physically not at home as much.
It’s also explained by the men feeling more secure since a child ties the couple together in a way that marriage alone doesn’t, so this gets exploited by making less of an effort. Motherhood being used to effect traditional and unequal gender roles.
During the holidays I’d ask the women if they need me to do anything. They tell me no, I don’t know how to do anything. Then I turn around and their husbands are nowhere near the kitchen and just drinking and watching football in the living room.
Nah my mom rarely lets me do anything even when I was a kid lol. So yeah, I don’t know how to do shit, but no one seems to give me any tasks outside of “put dishes in the table” and it never progresses
"How can I help?" is the golden phrase. It implies you're going to help (it isn't asking if you can help) but it allows that you helping might just be staying out of the way. If it's that, stay out of the way but watch and learn, or provide emotional support by hanging out while someone else does the thing.
Finally, someone said
I don't want to womansplain to you. But women HAVE been saying this shit since the written language, it's like half of feminist literature.
What is it with CHUDs and the whole massive tit thing? CHUDs are still humans at the end of the day so of course they'd be into T&A, even if some like the former more than the latter, but CHUDS consistently have massive tits in their fantasies and ass is left on the backburner. At least CHUD's obsession with super attractive, musclebound men is explainable because CHUD men think they ARE supermodels.
I mean, I'm not complaining considering that it's an improvement from drooling over actually 1000 year old dragons. But I find it weird from people who claim that sex and the body are two super evil things. Even CHUD women get in on it with Meloni's obsession with anime girls groping each other.
There's definitely a reactionary element to it, I think it goes back to Hugh Hefner and Playboy. The whole "woman with small waist and large breasts" paradigm was pushed by that magazine to the total exclusion of all other body types, not that it wasn't something people aspired to before then but that was when it really became a cultural object. Since pretty much every liberal and progressive sexual movement since then has been at least partially about broadening the horizons of what should be considered sexually desirable, reactionaries are forced to double down on the original template, starting in the eighties with the obsession with breast implants and continuing today with stuff like this.
I think the point is to emphasize that a woman is ONLY an object to them. By showing a woman with comically large boobs, the point is to emphasize that women are fundamentally unequal with men. They exist to be eye candy and nothing more.
I'm sure it's been in feminist theory for centuries, but women's fashion kinda sucks because it's damned if you do and damned if you don't.
If you're a woman and you're not conventionally attractive, even if it's something that many people still find fashionable like an androgynous alt girl, you get fucking horrifically shamed by these types. They'll whine about how the left calls them incels, but they will use 'incel-shaming' right back at any woman they don't find attractive. Then if you ARE attractive, let's say you are the nubile big tiddy blonde these CHUDs jerk off to, you're not taken seriously.
In the reeducation camps for chuds they'll have wojak dolls for them to play with.
owned so hard they were taken to the shadow realm
Next time I see a meme like this, I'm saying that word for word.
At my heaviest with DD's I never had to use an arm to keep them up, much less both. On an actual human those would be at least F cups.
Even in their weird fantasies they won't admit that her tits would sag down to her belly button if they became that big from multiple pregnancies.
Jokes aside right wingers do have a large recruitable population from angsty incels and all that. If I weren't connected to China I might've ended up as one of them. I should make a post about this tomorrow.
I was talking about something related to this with a friend earlier. These are their words:
There's a crisis in masculinity, particularly in service-led western economies. Late stage capitalism doesn't have a clearly defined role for males. The image of a gruff beer-lad footie fan; the manual family bread winner; it no longer relevant or compatible in the time we're in. There's little opportunity for expression; society is struggling to figure out the 'third spaces' that replace pubs and sports clubs. There's a mental health crisis amongst males. They're defensively edgy because the alternative is poked fun at. It's a societal gender-norm dogma that needs demolishing. I think progress is being made, but it's slow.
The context for this was how boring men's fashion is. How every single store is 90% women's fashion and 10% men's section is various cargo pants and shades of beige plus some lumberjack shirts.
The way men are forced to express themselves, not allowed to being very physical/touchy, not allowed to have emotions, etc etc. These things are no longer offset by the previous benefits of patriarchy they had, which made up for them.
One of the ways this contradiction is resolving itself is the emergence of "feminine" men through femboys and the like. But it's slow moving and I'd like to see it transition to just an outright normalisation of more creative fashion, more emotions and more touchy without the overt sexualisation involved or the dodgy age-based aesthetic (there's no old femboys).
