It wasn't getting rid of cops and it even said on the ballot "which could include licensed peace officers (police officers), if necessary". Don't get me wrong, it would have been a major and important reform, but given that Minneapolis was the center of a global movement because our pigs can't stop murdering people and people still voted no is pretty depressing.
