Forcing people to work? That's crazy. I've been showing up to this factory before the sun gets up everyday as a hobby
Why do all of these start with a variation of "Seriously? Communism?! As if all the failures hasn't proven it doesn't work!"
I honestly doubt the veracity of any of these anecdotes. But even if they are true, I see equally gigantic inefficiencies and failures in the American economy all the time. I was a construction inspector for years, and it was super common to have freshly installed copper stripped overnight, sometimes by the guys who had just installed it, and requiring it to be installed again.
And that I'd just an anecdote. On a systemic level the US economy is insanely inefficient and wasteful by design.
Communism is when you kill all the whales.
Capitalism is when you make the entire earth uninhabitable for life.
