Is signing your name to every post really enough to qualify as a "novelty account"?
The novelty wasn't just them signing. They were trying to build an epic online poster brand which is why they had a twitter and tried to watermark their own images with their name. Being a poster striver is the novelty.
I kinda expected to get banned at some point, but It just never happened.
