I got a new laptop and connected it to a 85inch QN90A + Philips Hue gradient setup. The lights react to content on screen like this: https://youtu.be/OQNyvSbc50I?t=18
What are some anime that aren't shit and with visually amazing dynamic action/scenes from 2010+?
It's more meditative than dynamic but The Tale of the Princess Kaguya has the most beautiful animation I've ever seen.
For colourful action scenes with artful backgrounds, maybe Samurai Jack?
The art looks beautiful and the story is good but its mostly stills and panning shots.
Does Avatar count as an anime?
Because some of the fights are pretty visually stunning. (it also has Azula)
I watched the agni kai between Zuko and Azula with the lights syncs to it. It took that fight scene to a whole new experience. I will try to record and post it here because you really have to see it to believe it.
I thought Space Battleship Yamato 2199 was gorgeous. Also despite being about a WW2 era IJN ship converted into a spaceship, it doesn't have that bad politics (don't expect wtf based moments either though)
You know about nyaa, right? Not only does it have almost everything, but you can sort by size and find uncompressed blurays, or excessively high quality rips with lots of seeders.
Protip: unfortunately all the uploaders follow their own different naming standards so you need to search in English, in Japanese with characters and romanised Japanese to find everything. Protip 2: Many torrents from before may 2017 show 0 seeders when there actually are plenty of seeders, because the site was taken down then and had to switch to a different domain.
Yeah, I watched the whole thing in 1080p on Animepahe. I'm talking about the 2012 remake, not the 1974 anime btw.
KK i will see if I can get a rip because on the TV artifacts are really easy to notice. I just found the torrent so its already in queue. Thank you fam
No problem. Yamato is not only pretty, but also has a really good story, I found.
Maybe Jujustsu Kaisen and Chainsaw man? The trailers indicate high visual quality and good action scenes.
If you're willing to watch more sappy/trashy/normie stuff then maybe Your Name and Weathering With You just for the eye candy level visuals.
(all available on gogoanime btw)
I am downloading Kaisen right now after watching the trailer. Art style reminds me of hunter X hunter
All of Mad house/Trigger works were the first thing I watched and its like being a kid again.
Try an episode of Arcane (the league of legends show on Netflix)
