The mission of socialists is not to “stop” crises of capitalism (that is an impossible task) but to take advantage of them when they occur, to seize opportunities, tap unrealized potential and create alternatives that negate or transcend the crisis
Our overarching goal should always be more power for the working class not guaranteeing the stability of the system
