I'm on break from playing after finishing Act 2 but pretty much always had Lae'zel and Shadowheart in the party, lots of character development for both, got used to them. For the third character I had Astarion in the beginning and then Minthara later. I didn't go the 'full evil' route to get Minthara but it still cut off some quests early as a result.
Feel like I'm the only one on Team Lae'Zel
Seems everyone is Team Shadowheart.
Shadowheart feels like the default straight option, as her and Wyll are the only ones that don’t seem to want you dead and are nice from the beginning
She's the "Alistair" of the group, meant to be the most agreeable to the player.
