    The pushback is always about connecting the rich white areas to the poor minority ones. I don’t know anything about this area but if 6 nations is a Res that tells you everything you need to know about the detractors.

        Santa Monica liberals pitched a fit when the expo line opened because poors could access "their" beach.

        Living in LA and being a bibliophile i have like half a dozen library cards, from Pasadena to Beverly Hills. Santa Monica is the only library that charges you if you live outside the zip code.

            LA city and la county both have their own huge library systems. Certain cities within the county have their own smaller libraries

        It's so fucking disgusting how often this trope works.

        Literally cannot have nice things because somebody shouts "Race Mixing?!" at a crowded city council event.
