I am actually fucking livid that people like you exist. You have the tools and the skills to expose yourself to new ideas and to challenge your pre-conceived notions of the world around you, and you won't. You are actually everything wrong with humanity right now.

    university discord servers are fun

edit: i was later banned for being a troll (justified), being a tankie who "defends genocide" (questions the Xinjiang narrative), supports DPRK (erm big yikes sweaty), and also am "racist" (made mildly edgy jokes about white people. im also white). Fellow compsci reddit nerds are my new favorite people to bully online

Nah it's far from being rolled back. Indisputable evidence from a Chinese guy who drove to some of the satellite imaged facilities showing that "yep, indeed they do have walls with barbed wire around them" made it to front page of world news yesterday.

it's always fun to troll pointless debate nerds

getting the privileged to waste their time responding to single sentences with multi paragraph screeds is :chefs-kiss:

Like bro...I did all of those things, and now I'm a communist. Between reddit libs and all those Herman Cain Award winning chuds, it sure seems like the people shouting the loudest about facts, logic and doing your own research are the ones who hew most fanatically to the suicidally stupid orthodoxies that were drilled into them as children.

So, where do these people live that the standard opinion shared by most people is that the DPRK is good? Because they're making this sound like you need to study deeply into ancient texts to find out that it's bad?

Sounds like a cool place ngl

I think the only place where most of the people think that the DPRK is good is the DPRK, and maybe China.

uncritical support for the DPRK in its heroic struggle to liberate occupied Korea from the genocidal American empire

I'm becoming convinced that "copypasta" is starting to mean "idea that I hold, but am too chicken to defend or even talk about in public without a cloak of irony"

I ask why they have to make this about politics.

I like Kim Jong Un, I like that there's at least one country ran by a young, strong, charismatic millennial instead of the desiccated corpses who rule over us.
