      It's law in DPRK that every toilet can be remotely accessed to open up and flush away the user. Western experts estimate that around 10.000 dissenters are executed daily in this fashion.

      It's a big see-saw-esque contraption rigged such that when one falls from one side the balance shifts to the other, and the mechanical action of it tilting back and forth moves baffles to push the next subject towards the edge. Like a simplified rube-goldberg machine scaled up.

    So what's the story here? I mean this is a massive lie but sumptuary laws are generally introduced for economic reasons. I can totally see DPRK throttling leather clothing production for the same reason Elizabeth I tried to wind down silk and velvet imports...namely that every fisherman and shepherdess was emulating her court gowns and silk import sales were taking up a serious portion of GDP and fucking over the wool industry.
