Guy probably muted his replies but the entire thread is pretty funny.

Guess you can't study "international relations" without being baby-brained enough to accept uncritically what the bourgeois think is good about liberalism.

Also funny not to even attempt to find out what 100 years of communists think and get your counterarguments for political systems purely from twitter.

In this dumbass's original post someone answered "yeah but the liberal democracy we live under isnt democratic and is authoritarian" and he goes "i vehemently disagree" ....

    Beyond parody

It's honestly depressing to see his tweets because those takes are pretty common among committed liberals I've talked to. They use their own tautologies to affirm their positions and close their brains immediately to anything that might contradict it ("this is contradictory to my definition of democracy, ergo its wrong. Therefore my definition of democracy is correct").

It takes considerably more work to deprogram someone like this than even "apoliticals" with reactionary tendencies, in my experience.

The man on twitter sees absolutely nothing wrong with the way politics work in America so of course he doesn't agree with basic points any "apolitical" would see.

You can't deprogram someone who sees nothing wrong. Reactionaries see a problem but blame the wrong people for the root causes, so of course they're easier to deprogram.

Most people know on some level that even if they bother to vote for one of two realistic options that they feel like they don't have an actual choice. The man who labels himself "Pragmatism enjoyer" is not that. He's more educated but definitely a lot more stupid.
