jk this is actually referring to a protest in solidarity with the Wet'suwet'en that police tried to break up. y'know, a protest against oil and gas companies who are illegally (based on literal Canadian law and treaties signed by the Canadian government) trying to force a pipeline onto indigenous land that they do not own, violently occupying and destroying it for profit and demanding that indigenous people just live with it
