    Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani women’s rights activist. At fifteen years old, she was shot in the head by the Taliban in retaliation for her continued activist work.

    In 2014 she won the Nobel Peace Prize.

    She enjoyed a lot of favor in western media after her attempted assassination. Her story was quietly put away by western outlets after she began openly speaking at different Marxist conferences and advocating for socialism.

      Also bears mention that her father is a local leader of a Trotskyite org in rural pakistan AFAIK. So while we (westerners) shit on trots for being useless, at least a few of them in the developing world are actually quite good, and does good work.
