Due to post about feds nocking on their door and asking about Hexbear, which was posted outside of fake news and could be seen as serious.

honestly since SecondThought mentioned the FBI has 750 pages on him and he could only manage to FOIA 5 of them without having to wait up to 5 years, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a lot of fed browsing of hexbear.

Yeah, which means they're most likely not knocking at anyone's door since they didn't shut down or disrupt his successful YouTube channel.

Well the whole reason he FOIA'd himself was because DHS knocked on his door and tried to question him about his video titled "The CIA is a terrorist organization." And for a few weeks after it came out users said they had to log in and click through 5 age warnings to watch it even though it didn't really have any adult content.

Yeah none of us are getting our doors knocked on (yet) because we don't have huge audiences, I'm just saying; they are collecting info about anyone who speaks against American hegemony, even in relatively obscure corners like this.

They know that open censorship will make people curious. They also know that most people don't want to bother with mild inconveniences. So they censor via inconvenience so they can pretend they aren't "technically" censoring something while also knowing that a huge chunk of the potential audience just won't bother.

i am almost 1000% confident nobody official is ever gonna bother us for just posting here

hence why i let the "death to [specific person]" posts fly freely shrug-outta-hecks

I would compare Hexbear to Backpage. Backpage was loved by some Feds as a resource to catch human traffickers as they were incredibly cooperative. Later other Feds, took it down since it was a pretty easy target. Hexbear is probably like by some Feds since it keeps us posting in our own little fenced off area. Other Feds in the future might see us as an easy place to get some quick arrests in the style of Emanuel Lutchman.

If when Death Wish 3 The Crackdown comes and the best charges the feds can lay against you is posting on hexbear, you should be ashamed.

Scholars far in the future will be perplexed on the FBI's Hexbear archive. It will be a hallmark of the collapse of the American espionage.
