    I just contacted someone who knows more about this and was given a link to this article.

    Apparently there's a well known spot referred to as "The Hole" behind a warehouse where the pigs beat people and then toss them in the bayou. I was told this was more common in the 1970s and the HPD has changed tactics since then. Trying to find more info.
