They are an old Democrat, running in a stupidly chuddy suburban city, but many chuds are joining the race to spread their vote thin so the Dem might just win it anyway.

I mentioned that public transportation was important to me. The candidate at least had the honesty to say that sort of progress wasn't a guarantee (in other words, not a priority for them). I might vote for them because the other candidates are cancerous covidiots. I don't know. A lib might feel like progress for my shithole city.
